Adam Marham
Adam trained with a regional firm after obtaining his M A (Law) degree from Sheffield University and qualified with Carrick Read in 2003. Adam specialises in contentious Insolvency matters, Litigation and Employment matters
He is a member of the Law Society Dispute Resolution Section and has a wide range of litigation experience in all main areas of commercial litigation including breach of contract disputes, property litigation, professional negligence, shareholder and employment disputes and regularly appears in the County and High Court as well as advising clients and leading clients in alternative dispute resolution procedures including mediation and arbitrations.
He advises and acts for creditors, insolvency practitioners and debtors in respect of both personal and corporate insolvencies including proceedings in respect of the realisation of assets, antecedent transactions and the review and rescission or annulment of previous orders made.
He advises both employers and employees in tribunal proceedings and also gives non-contentious employment advice including the preparation of contracts of employment and employer policies. He also advises employers, employees and insolvency practitioners where employment is affected by the onset of formal insolvency procedures.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his young family and watching Hull City.
